My sculptures, which might be described as contemporary sacred art, have been seen in various churches in England and Wales. There has been encouraging interest in the subjects I have made my own. My intention has been to appeal to people who spend times of prayerful consideration at St Beuno’s, where they are seen around the house. So I encourage people to ‘spend time being with them’. Explore all sides of the piece. Wander around them. Make your time with any one piece a time of discovery and personal enquiry. I have in mind for most of the sculptures a subject and often an iconography, and this booklet is a guide to my ideas, often coming out of prayerful and challenging times in my own life.
